TC Battle Mode at Domicile
The first Battle Mode of 2024 found it's new home at Domicile, as Garage Bar could no longer host us due to unforeseeable circumstances and a venue cancellation the day before the event. Thankfully, we were able to make a smooth transition and this event came out even better than anticipated!
​
With a bracket of 32 people and a winning prize of $500, Battle Mode had it's best turn out and scale thus far. We had competitors travel from New York, Colorado and Texas, as well as various parts of North and Central Florida. The winner was Mercury @nes.edith, who took the trophy home to NY.
​
Judge panel consisted of 3 powerful women: Mars @earthtomars__, Cass @casstherealtor904, and Baylee @woahitsbayyy.
Music was provided by Madison Kay @madisonkay.us, Kevin Bithell @kevinbithelll and Viper @viper_trance_
Following the battles we had a special afterparty set by Nicky K @realnickyk.

TC Battle Mode x Vibrations
at the Garage 2.0
Our second battle at the Garage Bar and biggest event yet!
This tournament featured a full 32 people bracket with participants from all corners of Florida.
The winner of this tournament was Lorena @loreshuffles , who took home the biggest winning prize to date: $300, with a $200 cash pot sponsored by Vibrations (@1337ent) and an additional $100 contribution from Shuffle Curious Podcast (@the_shuffle_curious_podcast).

There were 5 judges: Dhop, Kid Slay, Bambi, Krok and Krisis, who participated in a 2v2 battle showcase with partners drawn at random, resulting in team Krok & Bambi vs. team Dhop & Krisis. The remaining judge - Kid Slay, battled the host @techno11queen in an additional showcase.
​
The afterparty featured DJ sets from @bambi.us, @killah.krok, @kidslay__ b2b @madisonkay.us, and @henrry.zelaya

TC Battle Mode x Vibrations
at the Garage
The first event of 2023 took place at Garage Bar in Hollywood, FL in collaboration with 1337 Entertainment (@1337ent) Vibrations event.
​
This battle was free registration with a winning prize of $200 for the first place and a $50 bar tab for the runner up. There were a total of 20 participants, and the finalists were Kid Slay and Dhop, @dhop_87 who won the champion's title.
​
There was an afterparty featuring DJ sets from @kidslay__ , @henrry.zelaya and @apocalypse7

TC Battle Mode Prog Tech Edition
For this special edition we dove into slower BPMs of Progressive Techno music style. Battlers were encouraged to unlock new levels of musicality and flow, which resulted in a very fun and creative competition with huge individual level ups.

There were 16 participants with a winning prize of $120, the winner of this battle was Tenshi (@tenshi_0).
​
The event took place at Esplanade Park in Fort Lauderdale.

TC Battle Mode Chicago 1.0
This was the first Battle Mode event outside of Florida, it took place in Chicago, IL the day before Arc Music Festival.
​
There were 16 participants with a winning prize of $120, the winner of this battle was Mars (@earthtomars__).
​
The event took place at Ping Tom Park with support from @chicagoshufflers and sound by @viniciusdi_live.

Let's Get in2it
We partnered up with Elev8ed Movement to host a Bonnie x Clyde Style Shuffle Tournament at Movement Festival in Detroit on May 28.
​
This was an unprecedented event featuring teams of 1 man and 1 woman competing against each other at a techno music festival.
​
There were 10 participating teams, the winning prize was $200.
Winners of the tournament were Matt (@crock_stock) & Meg (@meg_dulin).

TC Battle Mode Orlando 1.0
The third edition of Battle Mode took place in Orlando, Florida. This was the first time we went to a different city to host an event and the turn out was incredible!
​
There were 16 participants with a winning prize of $80, the winner of this battle was by Tyler (@bgirldern).
​
The event took place at Barley & Vine Biergarten with support and sound from @shade_techno.

TC Battle Mode 2.0
Battle Mode 2.0 had the same layout and location as Battle Mode 1.0, but this time there were 24 participants, split into 2 brackets: Bracket A had 16 competitors, and Bracket B had 8. Each bracket had it's own cash pot ($80 for Bracket A, and $40 for B).
The winner of Bracket A was Chris (@krisis_shuffler), and the winner of Bracket B was Laylah (@laayflows). The winners of each bracket were offered to combine the cash pots and battle each other for a chance to take it all, OR to keep their prizes but still do an exhibition battle. Laylah and Chris decided to go all in, and Chris won the entire combined cash pot.

TC Battle Mode 1.0
This event marked the start to our Battle Mode series - an organized shuffle tournament featuring score cards. This battle took place at Esplanade Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
For this event, participants paid $5 to enter and the winner took the entire cash pot. This competition was performed in a classic bracket style with 16 participants.
The winner of this battle was Andy (@a.luv.er).

Hocus Pocus Festival Battle
Our very first shuffle battle project took place on the grounds of a Halloween Techno Festival at Factory Town in Hialeah, FL during Charlotte De Witte's set. This competition was in a seven to smoke format and featured 22 participants. Winners: a tie between Ant (@doit4dalikes) and Kean (@tenshi_0).
Both got a custom t-shirt from TC Customs as a winning prize.
